As security is such a major theme on the Act, many organizations are using the international ISO standards. The ISO 27001 Portal outlines these. A copy of the standards, and security policies, can be obtained via the ISO 17799 Toolkit.

One of our clients, a global insurance company, has an opening available for a Business Systems Analyst and we are seeking individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance/Accounting or related discipline.
* Strong technical skills.
* Expert knowledge of SOX and ORM regulations and initiatives.
* Proven experience leading, organizing, and executing projects.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
In the first 6 months, the Business Systems Analyst will assist with the development of a global SOX Operational Risk Management system supporting users with SOX guidance and compliance issues including the implementation of SOX tracking technology using Open Pages software. The Business Systems Analyst will meet with the user base to define specifications, present information to users and executives, train users in system functionality (including providing support in response to requests for assistance), and provide guidance updates on new SOX and ORM compliance issues. Additionally, the Business Systems Analyst will participate in the design, development, and implementation of a second and subsequent project focusing on creating a system to assist with ORM self-assessment. This position is highly visible and will involve heavy interaction with mid- to senior-level executives in the company’s subsidiaries.
