SOX Act and Security
As security is such a major theme on the Act, many organizations are using the international ISO standards. The ISO 27001 Portal outlines these. A copy of the standards, and security policies, can be obtained via the ISO 17799 Toolkit.

My company has just released dates for Sarbanes Oxley training for Section 404 implementation teams. We are running intensive courses for UK and European based teams, covering topics such as:

- internal control basics - what are controls, how do they address reporting assertions
- applying COSO/CoBIT
- documenting controls
- evidencing controls and how to test
- general computer controls
- remediation
- reporting control deficiencies.
