SOX Tester Required for Contract Role in NYC

[KTP001]

The SOX tester will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
:
Execution of SOX compliance testing and certification and communication finding to management.

Manage and maintain internal control standards including implementation of internal and external audit points together with issues raised by external regulators.

Provide SOX and operational risk awareness training for relevant personnel.

The management and maintenance of all information relating to SOX testing and internal control related initiatives.

Experience required:

Minimum of 5 years in IT preferable in a related role with at least 3 years of proven SOX program management and execution

Understanding of COSO and COBIT framework and internal controls design and evaluation methods.

A good understanding of the following is also ESSENTIAL:

Operation Risk and Internal Control
Information security and access control
Software Lifecycle and project management
Release configuration management
Incident management

The following would be advantageous:

Audit qualifications including: ACA, ACMA, CISA, CIA, CISSP
Knowledge of UNIX, Windows, i-Series, Subase, Oracle, MSSQL, Middleware (MQ< Websphere etc)

Banking or financial services experience.
