SOX Scope Question 894
-
Hello,
As I understand it, SOX primarily applies to publicly traded companies. Since we are a non-profit organization, I assumed we would not fall under the umbrella of SOX compliance. However, an IT consultant has suggested to us that since we receive grant money from public financial sources, we must comply with Sarbanes-Oxley. Does this sound correct?
Thanks.
