I am sure many people will wonder, so I’ll ask… why? Do you have subsidiaries there or something?
-
I live there
But because we are part of an American Firm we also have to follow Sarbanes Oxley…

I am also working for a company in the Netherlands which has to comply with SOx (which sux).
Anyone have any experience with using SOx to describe processes and work instructions for a starting new subsidiary with a new product? Seems to me its a bit to administrative for practical application, but I might be wrong

I am working for a dutch company belonging to a worldwide organisation; we are now fully compliant and are signed-off sinds I believe a month.
Since origiginally we also are an american company, and our own head-office is in the UK, allmost everything is in english…But wel…Guess that’s normal.?

2thepoint: if you search the NRC Handelsblad site for Sarbanes Oxley, you should find a sort of executive summary that was published in this paper in July 2002, of about 7 pages in Dutch. If you have trouble finding it let me know and I will try to dig it up.
The way I found this is by searching via Google on Dutch pages only.

I am currently working on a SOX project in Belgium (a Sub of a US Parent). If any one needs SOX consulting in Europe or other international sites write me at pls_at_tkgcinc.com. I have been doing process and internal control work (now SOX) for 7 years. I also teach a seminar in Corporate Governance. This seminar can be taught in-house.

Slim chance you even read this, looking at the original date of posting, but I was just wondering… did you achieve SOx compliancy yet?

Jochen - who are you asking?
