DEV/QA/PROD Environment Testing Flow Chart 2446

I am trying to put together a company Flow Chart to instill the idea of a ‘controlled’ process that involves 3 destinctive procedure levels. First the Development environment implementation and testing, then QA testing, then final implementation into the Production Environment. All this will involve testing as well as documentation, something that can be a little bit of a pain to obtain, but a very important process. Just wondering if there is any place to find a typical DEV/QA/PROD testing lifecycle so i can document it fully.
This would be greatly appreciated as it would save me a bit of time as im sure i will have to fine tune whatever i produce to relfect my current companies interests.
