Blackbaud, a leading provider of software solutions to nonprofit organizations worldwide, has an immediate career opportunity for an enthusiastic, team-player who has experience with SEC reporting and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is anxious to dive into Sarbanes Oxley compliance documentation and testing.
As the SEC Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of SEC reporting, including preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual reports (10-K and 10-Q), as well as filing on EDGAR. You also will research and interpret new accounting pronouncements. Moreover, you will provide budgeting and forecasting advice to various business units within the company.
Experience and Skills:
Job Requirements: Blackbaud will consider only those candidates who have a bachelor?s degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of four years business experience with some public accounting. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Preferred Experience: Blackbaud gives priority consideration to candidates who are CPAs or accountants with Big-Four experience.
