Sarbanes Oxley training for consultants 134
-
Is there any training available for a materials/supply chain professional consultant like myself? I do not need to become an expert, I only need to learn ‘what I don’t know.’ It would also be helpful for me to become smart enough in the subject to compliment the efforts of other professionals (internal to the companies I work with as well as financial consultants).

There are a number of good publications on SOX. Protiviti, in particular published a good Q-and-A formatted (PDF) document that was very helpful when I was getting started on SOX work this year. Also, KPMG’s ‘404 Institute’ has a self-study course on PCAOB’s Standard #2.
Best regards.

And of course there is some useful stuff in the Sarbanes-Oxley Toolkit, which is what I used to learn at the beginning.
Whichever route you take does take a bit of time and effort though, as much of this is not intuitive.

Hello,
Is there any site where I could download the Q-and-A formatted (PDF) document ?
