  • Job Title: Manager SEC Reporting and Sarbanes Oxley Compliance
    Description
    This newly created position will report to the Corporate Controller. Primary responsibilities will include: Preparing the Company’s 10-Qs, 10-Ks 8-Ks, proxy statements, annual report and all other SEC filing documents in compliance with all SEC and GAAP disclosure requirements; Maintaining appropriate policies, procedures and controls around the financial reporting process including proper documentation and timely review; Coordinating the production and filing of all publicly filed financial reports; Leading Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 Compliance with responsibility for maintenance of documentation, continued evaluation of internal controls and risk assessment, ongoing monitoring and testing, and supervision of external consultants; Overseeing the testing of internal controls by external audit firm to enable auditor, CEO and CFO certifications; Researching and interpreting new US GAAP pronouncements and SEC reporting requirements and assessing the impact on the Company’s financial statements and accounting policies; Interacting frequently with external auditors and Company management; Reviewing and documenting accounting treatment of significant agreements entered into by the Company; and Performing ad hoc analysis as required.
    Requirements
    We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 5-7 years progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including at least 4 years experience with a public accounting firm and experience in an SEC reporting/compliance role. CPA is required. Candidate should possess an in-depth knowledge of US GAAP, relevant technical accounting pronouncements (eg. SAB 104, FAS 123R, FAS 5, FAS 13, EITF 96-18) and SEC rules and regulations. Great Plains Dynamics experience is a plus; proficiency with MS Word and Excel required. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, extremely organized, and able to work well with other functional areas in the Company. The candidate must be able to work independently and manage multi-projects to pre-defined timelines. Strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-skills are necessary, as well as the ability to prioritize, propose solutions and translate accounting information or rules in context of the Company’s practices and business.
