  • My client is a billion dollar NYSE listed global leader in stored energy solutions, employing over 7,500 people at multiple manufacturing and sales locations globally, with offices in over 27 countries. They have maintained their market leadership position by providing customers with world-class products and services, covering a diverse range of applications. With exciting expansion plans both organic and acquisitive, they are now looking to expand their Internal Audit team by recruiting a Staff Auditor reporting to the Senior Director Internal Auditor.%0AThe Role:%0AThe position’s primary responsibility will be to perform audit examinations at assigned locations under the direction of the Sr. Director Internal Audit to support and enforce SOX and to comply with corporate policy, laws and regulations. %0AThe Responsibilities:%0APerform audit examinations.%0AWork to develop accounting controls that are effective in promoting efficiency and protecting the assets of the company.%0AEnsure financial statements and reports comply with corporate policy, laws and regulations.%0ASupport SOX 404 operational compliance.%0ADevelop and write comprehensive reports outlining findings and providing analysis and recommendations for improvement. %0ASupport local management with suggestions for improvements in areas audited or observed.%0AThe role will involve an anticipated 30-40% travel, with occasional overseas travel required.%0AThe Requirements:%0AYou will demonstrate advanced competencies in public accounting and auditing, ideally with BS degree in accounting, finance or related field and/or previous public accounting experience in auditing. Manufacturing experience would be preferred.%0AFluency in English is essential with any other languages a plus.%0ACompetency with standard Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) is required with knowledge of Hyperion and other accounting systems being advantageous.%0AYou will be a confident communicator, able to communicate well at all levels of the organization, and comfortable with creating and delivering presentations to mid and upper level management.%0AYou will display an ability to work with various functional groups to develop new processes changes that ensure appropriate controls are in place.%0AStrong analytical and problem solving skills.%0AThe Company offers a competitive benefits package and a salary commensurate with experience.
