What happened after SOX was passed 2245

  • Good day all. I am an accounting major doing a paper on SOX. I was wondering if anyone had any information as to whether or not any CEOs or other executives have been convicted of fraudulent acts since its passing, or have any public businesses gone bankrupt or failed government inspections/ SOX criteria.
    Thank you

  • Google SOX, Enron, Kenneth Lay (now deceased); Jeffrey Skilling (serving a 24 yr. 4 mon. sentence); Fastow (serving a 6 year sentence); Tyco; Healthsouth; WorldCom; etc, etc, etc.

Thanks for the info but I already know about these individuals. I was wondering if there were any other individuals who got convicted of fraudulent activities after the law was passed or specific names of public companies that went bankrupt after sox was implemented.
