Company Security Officer 725

  • Currently, we do not have Corporate Security Officer in our company. Security issues are controlled in a decentralized manner by various departments (e.g. physical security of the offices by Admin Department, network security by network operating department, program security in production environment by System Admin, etc). Periodic meeting among these department heads with the Managing Director will be held… Under the existing situation, do we still need to appoint / recruit a Corporate Security Officer? If so, must he be an independent party from any day-to-day operations?
    Thanks.
    Alfred

  • Yes, in order to have proper segregation of duties.
