JV with Turkey, what are the SOX implications? 3024

If a publicly traded company in the United States has formed a joint venture with a turkish entity where the U.S. company owns approximately 45% of the JV what are the SOX implications for the U.S. company? In their daily operations within the United States they are SOX Compliant, however does the JV have to be SOX Compliant as well even though the operations are in Turkey? Or does the US Company need controls over the cash inflow and outflor from the United States?
